Nowadays, a dollar or two can't buy you much. Or can it?
It doesn't have to be anything extravagant. Something unique, funny, ideal or just plain wonderful will do just fine...

They were not too big, or too small and were excellent sizes for gift giving - or stocking stuffers!

Tiny Steel Pot with Hook Handles

Found this interesting-looking little pot at a flea market a while back. I have no clue what it's used for or even how it was used... but if you do, let me know!

I paid $3.00 for it and since I bake a lot, I figured it would come in handy for something. Just not sure what yet.

Mini SQUEEZABLE BOTTLES

Anything 'mini' is always cute isn't it? Check out these mini squeezable bottles I bought for under $2 each. One contained a set of 3 -f or your condiments. I LOVE the idea that they are squeezable!

The first bottle called 'Dressing to Go' is a squeezable silicone bottle which I know will sure come in handy for work.

Big and Colourful 4-Piece MEASURING SPOON Set

Look what I found in the dollar store a few weeks back. Aren't they neat? I just love how big and colourful they are and how useful they've been in the kitchen! I paid $2.50 for all 4.

They came in handy when I had to measure out some strawberry puree for my Strange but Chewy Strawberry Shortcake Cookies recipe.

Nostalgic TIN THERMOMETER

We were sure loving this colourful nostalgic Winchester-themed tin thermometer. Not bad for only $3.00. But as you will see later, sometimes you get what you pay for!

We found something similar at a famous hunting/sports shop nearby for about 4x the price:

BAG CLIPS with Printed Dates

Everyone has a bag clip (or two) kicking around don't they. But these ones come with printed dates on them. Now you'll never have to taste those snacks to see if they're stale ever again! ;)
Three sizes in a pack for $1.25!

Cute Silicone CUPCAKE MOULDS (w/feet)

I'm not sure what type of cupcake I'll be whipping up for these strange looking silicone cupcake molds - but I know they'll come in handy some day (perhaps for a kid's birthday party?), and when I DO use them, I'll be updating this post accordingly. Check them out. They're so cute! Two in a pack for $2.
